Research Professors and Postdoctoral Fellows in Physics

BK21 FOUR POSTECH Physics Division has about one opening for research professors or postdoctoral fellow.

The annual salary starts from 45,600,000 KRW (approximately US$30,520 at the current exchange rate) for postdoctoral fellows and 54,000,000 KRW (approximately US$36,140) for research professors. The initial appointment for the position is normally for one year. However, depending on the appointment date, the appointment period may be less than one year. In any case, the appointment period cannot extend beyond the end of the BK21 FOUR project (August 31, 2027). The minimum qualification is a Ph.D. degree for postdoctoral fellows and at least one year of postdoctoral (or equivalent) research experience for research professors.

The application deadline is 11 August 2026 for positions beginning as early as 1 September 2026 but no later than 16 October 2026.
