New trends of amplitude calculations in quantum field theory

In this talk I will review recent exciting progresses of calculating amplitudes in quantum field theory. These new methods include the CSW rule, the on-shell recursion relation, the leading singularity and unitarity cut method. These new methods lead not only faster, simpler calculations, but also deep understanding of many aspects of quantum field theory.
