Quantum nonlocality and Entanglement in Quantum Information

본문

" Quantum information science is principally based on the following facts.
a) Information processing is of physics in the sense that every information process is implemented on a physical system and affected by physical laws.
b) Quantum correlation of entanglement can not be simulated by any classical theories, so-called Bells theorem.
In this talk, we will be concentrated on quantum nonlocality being emerged by entanglement, in particular, Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger (GHZ) nonlocality.
Greenberger, Horne, and Zeilinger proposed a paradox, following Einstein, Podolsky, and Rosens arguments, showing Bells theorem for nonlocality that quantum physics conflicts with local realism. We will discuss on generalization of the GHZ paradox in two dimensional Hilbert space to arbitrary even dimension.
