Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH) seeks an outstanding candidate for a tenure-track faculty position to develop an interdisciplinary research program called Future Convergence Field which includes Statistical Physics, Biophysics, and Optics. Candidates must have a Ph.D. degree in physics or engineering. Preference will be given to applicants with more than two years of post doc experience, or equivalent. Applicants must have the ability to establish a strong research program in interdisciplinary fields. He/she will be expected to teach, in English, undergraduate and graduate courses, and to supervise graduate students. The position and salary will be determined in commensuration with the candidate’s previous experience. The positionis expected to start from the first semester, 2016.
